The DEA’s sketchy attempts to rally against the Colorado marijuana bill that, if passed, would legalize possession of up to an ounce of marijuana, now include active fund raising, according to a story in the Boulder Weekly (accessible here). This move seems to be a response to the charge that the DEA is using tax money for their campaign.

Hopefully the public will see this for what it is: a desparate self-preservatory attempt to protect one’s job.
