<description>"Those who fail to remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
-Santayana

Inspired by this quote, New York trial lawyer John Nicholas Iannuzzi decided to pen his latest authorial achievement, CONDEMNED. In this controversial new book, Iannuzzzi uses history and legislative experience to support his stance on the legalization of drugs. He parallels the former laws of Alcohol Prohibition, which were intended to regulate and eliminate alcohol but actually created an illegal industry and corruption, with the present drug prohibition laws, which have given rise to decades of the violence and crime plaguing America and the rest of the world.

By legalizing and regulating drugs in the same way that alcohol has been controlled, Iannuzzi contends that society will have a three-fold benefit: eliminating trafficking and its cohorts violence and corruption, bringing in billions of legitimate tax dollars into the public coffers to better serve society, and eradicating the incalculable cost of fighting the ineffective "war on drugs." Once trafficking is eliminated, addiction can be dealt with as the medical and psychological problem that it is.

If you would like to receive a review copy of CONDEMNED for your blog, or to set up an interview with John Iannuzzi, please feel free to contact me. I’d also be happy to email you a press kit for more information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,
