Open forum on the drug war:

I’m also sick of the “slippery slope” argument that these people always bring up when they want to maintain status quo. The inverse of that argument is what a slippery slope we would have if we started making all drugs illegal, like alcohol, aspirin, caffeine, etc. OMG, where would it end? What would the consequences be? It’s an illogical argument that has been made by many in the past concerning women’s rights, racial equality, and continues to be made today on a number of topics including gay rights, drug usage, etc.
