Federal marijuana seizure in CA unconstitutional

San Diego State University Press reporting.

The supreme court wrongly upheld a ruling that the federal government can seize and destroy marijuana/prosecute posessors even in a state that permits posession of marijuana for medical purposes.

“A unilateral decision not to comply with state law,” Renner said, “on the grounds that it may be prohibited by federal criminal law, without first receiving the guidance of an appellate, is barred by the California Constitution.”

What happened to states’ rights?
